Java is
between 4 and 5 months old, and is a German Shepherd,
that is prolly mixed with some border collie perhaps? She
looks
mostly shepherd all except her ears. Aren't they cute?

Java's first week here has been a bit hectic, but not for
the
reasons you would normally expect with a puppy. Actually she
is
one of the easiest puppies I've have had. She is such a
sweet
calm girl. Eager to please, and fast to learn. She came for
the
German Shepherd Rescue Group. A wonderful group that
helps
this wonderful dogs that are dumped by owners, mistreated,
or
maybe just lost... find new loving homes. You can find out

Java has only been here a week, and stole my heart within the
first
five minutes of meeting her. She is a silly girl <g>
(aren't they all?)
who so far has decided that the TV is an evil monster that
needs
to be warned against, as well as the lemon tree in the back
yard.
She loves to chase flies around, and will stand on her back
legs
and actually try to bat at them with her paws. Only a week and
she
has already given me tons of laughter. Unfortunately,
Kayla isn't
quite as sure about this new "critter" that has
invaded our home.
I'm sure with time and patience she will learn to love her just
as I
have, but for now we are living a life of Dog gates, and crates
and
separation. I guess Kayla didn't look close enough at that
cute
face yet, to fall in love like I did, but in time, I'm sure she
will. :) |
