Moonshine my best friend through my most difficult
times.
Every now and then there is a very
"special" one of a kind dog born.
Anyone with dogs knows exactly what I mean... that one dog in your
life that is so special they could melt even the coldest of hearts. My
Moonshine was that dog. She was a pound puppy all alone and very
scared at
six weeks old in a rather large cage shaking in the corner..
I brought
her home and from that day forward for the next ten years
had a best friend,
like no other...
Moonshine was very vocal and loved to go everywhere
with me. All I
had to do was brush my hair and
she would know that I was "going"
somewhere and start making all kinds of noise. To show just how
special she was
to all she touched... when I brought her home my
parents had a fit. They yelled
"that
dog
goes back to where-ever
she came from TOMORROW! Years later when I
tried to break the
news
to my dad that I would be moving out on my own. His first
words to
me were... YOUR NOT TAKING THE DOG ARE YOU? |
Moonshine lives in my heart forever,
she is waiting at the rainbow
bridge.
